What To Expect:

The Khao Sok National Reserve is famous, first of all, by a lake of incredible beauty. Being the largest source of fresh water in Thailand - Lake Cheo Lan, turquoise-emerald, quiet and still wild, attracts tourists with a lot of bays and coves, caves, tropical birds, large fish and lack of information noise: even mobile communication and the Internet is not there. Only the sounds of nature and the chirping of the motors passing through the surface of the lake of the long-tail

Itinerary:

7.30 departure from the hotel in the reserve Khao Sok.
Panorama of the reserve: an ancient tropical forest.
Cheow Lan Lake Safari: Uninhabited Islands, Cliffs, Little Thai Guilin - Swimming in the Emerald Lagoon.

A diamond cave in which we look at the settlement of the world's smallest bats, stalactites, land corals and descend to an underground cave lake with crystal clear water in which the bravest can swim.
Lunch in a floating restaurant (freshly caught fish from the lake, Thai dishes).
Swimming, kayaking, you can jump from the towers, feed and see the lake fish. Monkey Cave with an underground lake or hot springs of Khao Sok Reserve.
18.00-18.30 return to the hotel.

	Mike F 10/05/2019 9.8 / 10 Took a day trip to Cheow lan lake in Khao Sok national park two days ago and although it is a two hour drive from Khao Lak it is worth it for the natural beauty of this area. The Lake was the highlight of the day and is simply stunning with enormous limestone jungle clad hills and islands very much like the Krabi/James bond island area but without the crowds. We literally had the lake to ourselves. A longboat took us one hour into the lake (this lake is huge and we only covered a very small part of it) through incredible limestone formations and emerald green waters. We had lunch in the most wonderful restaurant set in the lake over the water where we also took a swim after lunch.
