Tiger Kingdom is an opportunity to get up close and personal with several Indochinese tigers of varying ages and sizes that have been raised by hand in captivity since birth. Tiger Kingdom is an attractive, squeaky-clean setup located right next to the Go-Kart track in Kathu at the foot of Patong Hill. On four acres of land, it cost approximately 100 million baht to build. Stroll into reception and you’ll be greeted by a small army of orange-shirted greeters who will lead you through the paperwork necessary in meeting a big cat.

  • The ticket price is divided into 4 categories and depends on the size of the tigers you want to visit.
  • Paid entrance to the park for all children.
  • Children up to 140 cm tall can only enter the cage with tiger cubs.
  • You can take pictures of a tiger without a flash.

Вчера съездила в Королевство тигров. Всё понравилось. Забрали в отеле, отвезли к тиграм, дали час времени на посещение. Билеты к тиграм покупаешь на месте. Заходила в клетку к Маленьким тиграм, которые не такие и маленькие. Страшно, но интересно. В вольере пять тигров и четыре пять дрессировщиков. Можно заказать фотографа, можно на свой телефон сфотографировать. Меня сфотографировали с каждым из пяти тигров. Можно их гладить по спине, трогать хвост и задние лапы. Голову и передние лапы трогать нельзя. Перед моим заходом в вольер, тигры играли с дрессировщиками, плескались в бассейне, были весьма активны. Когда меня впустили, они разлеглись по разным местам.

Visited yesterday and the experienced exceeded our expectations. The tigers are so well looked after and in beautiful condition and ate a credit to the keepers. Learnt a lot about the big cats....they live longer in captivity 16-20 yrs, as opposed to 10-15 yrs in the wild. Went in 3 cages: smallest - 2-5 mths, small - 6-12mths and big - 19-36mths. Lots of keepers in the cages with you and very strict handling guidance for visitors. The cages and enclosures are extremely clean and lots of shade for the cats.
